Friends of the Los Angeles River is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River and its riparian habitat through inclusive planning, education and wise stewardship. www.folar.org
MERSEY TOBEATIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE
Southwestern Nova Scotia is a distinct biosphere, and the Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute (MTRI) is fostering the sustainable use of natural resources there. For the last three years I have been working with MTRI to create imagery that is printed on folded cards and postcards for their fundraising and awareness campaigns.
